Located in Nellis Afb, NV, the Martin Luther King Jr. Senior Center is dedicated to uplifting seniors through essential services and meaningful resources that enhance their quality of life. Recognizing the challenges faced by many in our community, including unemployment and low income, our center is a lifeline for senior citizens in Clark County, particularly those from minority backgrounds and those managing financial pressures such as caring for grandchildren. We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the unique needs of our clients, including daily congregate meals, a thriving food pantry, nutrition seminars, health screenings, case management, and transportation services. Our commitment to health and wellness is also reflected in our computer training and fitness classes, allowing seniors to engage socially and continue learning. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain dedicated to providing food assistance to seniors in need.
