The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Nixon, NV, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month educational journey. Our program, offered in both English and Spanish, equips participants with vital knowledge through six engaging e-booklets tailored to their unique needs following diagnosis. Additionally, we provide a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips, resources, and information on local community events, fostering a sense of belonging and connection. Participants who opt-in with their phone number can also join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can directly engage with ADA experts to ask their diabetes-related questions, explore the connections between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that enhance their journey toward empowered diabetes management.
