Located in Nixon, NV, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management solutions. Our mission is to support Veterans in their weight loss journeys by conducting annual screenings for obesity at VA facilities, connecting individuals with personalized weight management services, and offering a range of treatment options that cater to their unique needs. Veterans can access various programs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which enables in-home messaging and frequent clinician contact. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app helps those who prefer a self-directed approach. For those facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
