Embracing Healthy Baby is a compassionate home visiting prevention program located in North Las Vegas, NV, dedicated to supporting African American and Black women of childbearing age. Our experienced Community Health Nurse and Community Health Worker are committed to providing personalized education and resources through weekly or biweekly home visits. Women can enroll at any point during their pregnancy or if they have a child aged 0-6 months. We offer comprehensive services including care coordination, nutrition education, child development education, and health education, along with vital referrals to mental health and substance use services and connections to community-based organizations. While our primary focus is on serving African American/Black women, we welcome other residents living within our 17 targeted zip codes, ensuring that every family has access to the support they need for a healthy start.
