The Medical Nutrition Therapy Program, offered by Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, is dedicated to ensuring that adults aged 60 and older in Overton and Clark County receive essential nutrition tailored to their unique health needs. This vital program provides convenient meal delivery and personalized dietetic consultations conducted by registered dietitians to support clients facing challenges such as medical conditions that require specialized nutrition, chewing or swallowing difficulties, and malnutrition. Our comprehensive services include over-the-phone nutrition consultations, modified textured meals, and, when available, nutritional supplements for eligible individuals. Each meal is carefully analyzed to align with the standards set by the Older Americans Act and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, ensuring they are well-balanced and contribute to one-third of the daily nutritional requirements for older adults. Our meals are thoughtfully designed to be compatible with meal plans for individuals with diabetes and heart disease, providing the nourishment and support our community's seniors need.
