The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Owyhee, NV, is dedicated to empowering individuals as advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, this fellowship encourages participants to engage deeply with organic food systems while addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges. The program provides valuable opportunities to work in market-style farming, foster community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into local education initiatives. Selected Fellows will spend six enriching months at our campus, followed by a year of community engagement, partnering with regional non-profits to enhance food access and promote healthy eating practices. We strive for accessibility, offering this fellowship without tuition, and actively seek participants who are passionate about making a tangible difference in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
