MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Owyhee, NV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and provide tailored referrals to various weight management options. These include engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative in-home support through TeleMOVE! We also offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who thrive on independent management. For Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight despite our program, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as appropriate. Interested Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their weight management journey with us.
