The Medical Nutrition Therapy Program, operated by Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, is dedicated to ensuring that older adults aged 60 and above in Clark County, NV, receive the nutrition they need for a healthy lifestyle. We provide essential meal delivery services that include tailored nutrition consultations with a registered dietitian, specifically designed for those managing medical conditions, chewing or swallowing difficulties, or malnutrition. Our program offers over-the-phone nutrition support, modified textured meals, and access to nutritional supplements when available. Each meal is crafted to adhere to the established standards of the Older Americans Act and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, ensuring that they meet one-third of the daily nutritional requirements for seniors. Our meals are thoughtfully designed to support individuals living with diabetes and heart disease, making it easier for them to incorporate balanced nutrition into their daily lives.
