The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Silver City, NV, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals who are passionate about creating a food system that is just and sustainable for all. This program offers a unique, tuition-free opportunity for Fellows to engage in comprehensive organic food system education, where they can actively learn and advocate for healthy eating and ecological literacy. Through hands-on experience at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will grow and distribute a variety of crops, implement innovative educational sessions in health care, maintain and enhance school and community gardens, and support local farmers markets. With a commitment to increasing access to nutritious food, the fellowship includes a Community Action Year, allowing participants to apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profits. We invite applications annually, emphasizing our belief in accessibility and inclusivity in fostering the next generation of food advocates.
