The Women, Infant and Children program (WIC) in Silver City, NV, is dedicated to fostering nutrition and health for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our essential food assistance program, we provide access to supplemental healthy foods, breastfeeding support, and comprehensive nutrition education. We also connect families with necessary health care resources, offer breast pumps to aid nursing mothers, and facilitate peer support classes to create a nurturing community for new families.
