The Martin Luther King Jr. Senior Center in Sloan, NV, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens in Clark County. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by older adults, particularly those on fixed incomes or from minority backgrounds, our center offers a range of vital services designed to meet their needs. We provide daily congregate meals, a food pantry for emergency food assistance, nutrition seminars, health screenings, and a variety of social, recreational, and educational opportunities. Our comprehensive case management and referral services ensure that seniors have access to necessary resources, while our computer training and health and fitness classes empower them to lead healthier, more engaged lives. Although COVID-19 has limited in-person activities, we continue to deliver essential food support to seniors in need.
