About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Spring Creek, NV, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers participants with hands-on training and vital knowledge in organic food systems, all while ensuring accessibility through a tuition-free model. Over six months at our scenic farm campus, Fellows immerse themselves in experiential learning, focusing on diverse agricultural practices and community engagement. They gain the skills to grow and distribute crops, lead innovative educational initiatives, promote healthy food access through farmers markets, and implement ecological literacy in schools. After this enriching experience, Fellows transition into a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional nonprofits to put their newfound knowledge into practice. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the learning experience running from May to October.
