The Medical Nutrition Therapy Program, offered by Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of adults aged 60 and older in The Lakes, NV, and throughout Clark County. Our program ensures that seniors receive essential meal delivery services, along with personalized dietetic consultations from registered dietitians. We cater to individuals facing challenges such as medical conditions that require nutrition intervention, chewing or swallowing difficulties, and malnutrition. Our offerings include convenient over-the-phone nutrition consultations, modified textured meals, and available nutritional supplements. Each meal is carefully analyzed to comply with the standards set by the Older Americans Act and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, providing a balanced approach that meets one-third of the daily nutritional needs for older adults. These meals are also specifically designed to fit seamlessly within dietary management plans for conditions like diabetes and heart disease, ensuring that our clients receive quality nutrition that supports their health goals.
