MOVE! Weight Management Program in The Lakes, NV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connect them with tailored weight management services, and offer diverse treatment options that cater to their individual needs. Participants benefit from a variety of care options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those who may need additional assistance after attempting lifestyle changes, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
