Located in Verdi, NV, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a vital resource dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of families across Northern Nevada. As the second largest WIC provider in the region, we proudly offer essential services such as nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and supplemental nutritious foods to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and young children under five. Our inclusive approach ensures that all families, regardless of employment status or citizenship, can access our services. In addition to our core offerings, we facilitate one-on-one support and monthly virtual groups, along with referrals to further health and social services and expert lactation care, ensuring that every family has the resources they need for a happy, healthy future.
