Whitney on Wheels (WOW) is a mobile health unit operated by Whitney M. Young Health, dedicated to bringing vital primary care services to the Albany, NY community. By eliminating barriers to healthcare access, WOW provides essential preventive services such as routine physicals, vaccinations, and health and nutrition counseling directly to patients in schools and various community settings. To access services offered by WOW, individuals are encouraged to establish care with Whitney Young Health as their primary provider. While some locations are exclusive to members of specific schools or organizations, we also provide open sites to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to receive the care they need.
