Located in Baldwin, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. The program offers a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service, allowing for in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for a self-directed weight management experience, alongside access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
