Wayside Meals on Wheels is dedicated to serving the Brooklyn community by providing home-delivered meals to elderly and disabled residents who are homebound. Our program, funded by the NYC Department for the Aging and City Meals on Wheels, operates six days a week, ensuring that individuals receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs. In addition to regular meal deliveries, we offer frozen and emergency food packages for Sundays and holidays, making sure no one goes hungry. While there is a suggested donation, we want to emphasize that no payment is required to access our essential food assistance. Our mission is to foster community well-being by delivering warmth and sustenance right to the doorsteps of those who need it most in Brooklyn.
