The Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, located in East Meadow, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families throughout Nassau County. We prioritize respect and dignity for every client, welcoming them as part of our community. Our pantry operates with a hands-on approach, allowing families to select their own groceries with the guidance of our caring volunteers. Each family is invited to shop once a month, and they will meet with our staff for a yearly interview to ensure personalized support. Our mission extends beyond just food; we aim to offer a compassionate ear and connect families with additional social services as needed. We're proud to distribute emergency food every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ensuring that those in need receive the help they require with warmth and understanding.
