Sophie Levy A'H Meals on Wheels in Far Rockaway, NY, is dedicated to offering nourishing home-cooked meals to families in need, available from Monday through Friday for up to two weeks. Our mission focuses on food assistance, ensuring that those facing difficult times receive healthy gourmet meals prepared daily by our dedicated volunteer chefs. Each meal is delivered fresh by our caring volunteer drivers, who not only provide essential food support but also take the time to offer friendly visits, fostering community connections. In addition to our meal service, we bring joy and comfort by including freshly baked hallah and desserts with every Erev Shabbat delivery, promoting a sense of togetherness and celebration during challenging times.
