MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Far Rockaway, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with personalized weight management services that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management or explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who need additional assistance.
