At the Family Support Project in Farmingdale, NY, we are dedicated to empowering families to achieve long-term stability and prevent academic disruptions for their children. Our mission focuses on helping families transition from crisis to stability, addressing the risk factors that can lead to homelessness. Funded by The Siemer Institute and supported by United Way of Long Island, we offer comprehensive navigation services tailored for families facing challenges in maintaining self-sufficiency. Our program includes personalized case management and coaching, financial assistance to alleviate immediate housing crises, educational resources in budgeting and financial management, job training referrals, and access to food assistance and nutrition education. We are here to support families in cultivating a stable future for themselves and their children.
