At Produce Box Distribution in Forest Hills, NY, we are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of local families through our food assistance program. Each participating family receives 20-25 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring access to nutritious options that promote better eating habits. Alongside our commitment to providing emergency food, we also emphasize nutrition education through handbooks, recipe cards, and healthy tip sheets, empowering families to make informed choices. Our engaging food experience includes healthy recipe tastings, making the pick-up a communal celebration of wholesome eating and learning. Together, we strive to build a healthier community, one bite at a time.
