At First Stop Food Pantries in Freeport, NY, we are committed to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our emergency food pantries offer up to five days’ worth of nutritious food, ensuring that no one has to go hungry. In addition to food distribution, we connect our visitors to vital community resources, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, and various forms of assistance for heating, utilities, employment, and mortgage support. We operate with care and safety, allowing service to six families at a time to foster a welcoming environment while respecting social distancing.
