MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Freeport, NY, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to achieve healthier lifestyles through comprehensive weight management solutions. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are referred to tailored weight management services suited to their individual needs. We offer a range of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home guidance, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who may require further assistance.
