The Astoria Welfare Society (AWS) is dedicated to serving the Fresh Meadows community by providing essential food assistance to 7,000 to 10,000 families each month. We ensure that those in need have access to groceries and vital items that support their well-being and nurture a sense of dignity. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and promote self-sufficiency for families facing difficult circumstances.
