First Stop Food Pantries in Massapequa, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hunger. Our emergency food pantries ensure that those in need receive up to five days' worth of nutritious food, addressing their immediate dietary needs. We also connect clients with vital resources, including information about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, and various forms of financial support such as utility and mortgage assistance. We invite our community members to visit their nearest pantry to access food and critical support in a caring and safe environment. To protect the health and well-being of our staff and volunteers, we currently serve six families at a time and maintain safe waiting room practices.
