Located in Massapequa, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran utilizing VA facilities for obesity annually and offer a variety of tailored solutions that meet individual needs and preferences. Participants can engage in supportive group sessions, benefit from personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, or access our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for at-home messaging and clinician interaction. For those who prefer more independent options, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after traditional methods.
