Produce Box Distribution, located in Middle Village, NY, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing families with essential food assistance through the distribution of 20-25 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Our commitment goes beyond just offering emergency food; we empower families with nutrition education resources, including handbooks and healthy tip sheets, to foster informed choices and healthy eating habits. To create a supportive and engaging environment, we organize fun recipe tastings during produce pickups, allowing families to explore new dishes together. Our mission is to ensure that every family has access to nutritious food and the knowledge to make healthier lifestyle choices.
