Located in Middletown, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and connected to tailored weight management services that meet their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support and clinician contact. For those who prefer to manage their weight independently, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is readily available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite engaging with MOVE!. To take the first step towards a healthier lifestyle, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for support and guidance.
