MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Poughkeepsie, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen all Veterans in VA facilities for obesity, ensuring that they receive personalized referrals to suitable weight management services. We offer a range of treatment options tailored to the unique needs of each Veteran, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which provides in-home support. For those who prefer to take charge of their weight management independently, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further assistance after engaging with MOVE!.
