MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Springfield Gardens, NY, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to achieve their health and wellness goals through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion approach. Our mission is to annually screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they have access to tailored weight management services that align with their unique preferences and needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! services that facilitate in-home support and clinician engagement. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to experience challenges with weight-related issues.
