In Springfield Gardens, NY, the New Beginnings Teen Parenting Program, part of the J-CAP organization, is dedicated to empowering young mothers by providing essential emotional support and practical resources. Our mission focuses on equipping pregnant, parenting, and at-risk teens with the skills needed to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We encourage participants to remain in school, pursue their General Equivalency Diploma (GED), and continue their education towards college and career opportunities. Our comprehensive services include access to community-based GED instruction, life skills and social skills training, academic support, nutritional education, and guidance in parenting and homemaking.
