Located in Woodhaven, NY, the New Beginnings Teen Parenting Program, part of J-CAP, is dedicated to empowering young mothers as they navigate the challenges of parenthood and strive for personal growth. This nurturing initiative offers essential support to pregnant, parenting, and at-risk teens, equipping them with practical tools to foster independence and success. The program focuses on helping participants complete their education—whether it's staying in school or obtaining their General Equivalency Diploma (GED)—and guides them toward pursuing higher education and sustainable employment. Through a variety of services such as GED instruction, life and social skills training, assistance with homework, nutritional education, and career planning, we are committed to creating a supportive environment that encourages young mothers to thrive, both as individuals and as parents.
