The Woodmere-Lawrence Methodist Church, established in 1871, has served the Woodmere community for over 140 years by providing spiritual support and fostering fellowship among its members. Once thriving with a congregation of over 600, it now faces imminent closure due to declining membership, currently at only 20 members. The church's rich history is marked by community engagement and outreach, with programs aimed at supporting local residents in times of need. Although its operations are winding down, the church's legacy and contributions to the community endure. Interested individuals are encouraged to explore the remaining support services and activities before the church's final closure, connecting with the spirit of hope and unity that it once embodied.
