The Veterans Food Bank in Chillicothe, OH, is proud to be the largest food pantry in the state focused exclusively on serving military veterans and their families. Each month, we distribute substantial quantities of nutritious food designed to meet the urgent needs of veterans facing food insecurity, offering up to 15 emergency meals per family member monthly, with the possibility of additional food supplies assessed on a case-by-case basis. Our mission extends beyond immediate food assistance, as we collaborate with veterans to foster self-reliance and independence, helping them navigate beyond their reliance on food donations. In addition to emergency food support, we also strive to meet various basic needs by providing clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene items, depending on availability. We are committed to connecting veterans with additional local resources, ensuring they have the support necessary to thrive in the community.
