Mobile Food Pantries, operated by Lutheran Social Services in Lancaster, OH, is dedicated to combating food insecurity and providing emergency food assistance to families in need. Our program delivers vital nutrition directly to communities, ensuring that those facing hunger have access to essential food resources. We strive to meet clients where they are by bringing our food pantry services to them, fostering a supportive approach that prioritizes care and community well-being. To utilize our services, residents of Franklin and Delaware Counties do not need a referral, while Fairfield County residents can contact us for a referral a week prior to the scheduled mobile pantry visit. In response to the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded eligibility criteria, allowing more families to benefit from our food assistance program.
