The Ohio Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Strongsville, OH, is dedicated to supporting low-income elderly individuals by providing vital nutrition assistance through a monthly food box. While these boxes do not constitute a complete diet, they are thoughtfully designed to offer essential nutrients that are often missing from the diets of seniors. Each month, participants receive a selection of nourishing items, including nonfat dry and evaporated milk, juice, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, and a variety of canned fruits and vegetables.
