Adult & Teen Challenge Sonrise, established in 1988, sits on a sprawling 70-acre campus in Cache, Oklahoma. As one of over 215 residential centers within the Adult & Teen Challenge network across the US and Canada, Sonrise carries forward the vision of founder David Wilkerson, who recognized addiction as a central issue among the gang members he worked with in New York. This Christ-centered residential program offers a comprehensive recovery approach through its structured five-phase system, typically requiring a 13-month or longer commitment. Residents engage in a Bible-based curriculum that integrates sermons, Bible studies, prayer, spiritual retreats, and work therapy. The program provides a faith-focused environment where individuals can address substance use disorders through spiritual principles and practical life applications.
