At CARD's Senior Nutrition program in Claremore, OK, we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors by providing nutritious meals and fostering a sense of community. Our program offers delicious meals served at various nutrition sites, complemented by engaging group activities such as bingo, cards, dominoes, and exercise sessions. We prioritize health and wellness through monthly visits from our registered dietitian, who addresses dietary concerns and provides nutrition education. Each location features supportive staff, including a Site Manager and Outreach Representatives, who assist seniors in accessing vital resources, coordinating social events, and addressing unmet needs. For those seniors unable to visit our sites, we deliver home-cooked meals directly to their doorsteps within city limits after assessing their needs. Open to all individuals aged 60 and over, we encourage meal donations but understand that participation can be based on individual circumstances. Our mission is to ensure seniors feel nourished, supported, and connected in their community.
