Cooweescoowee Health Center, located in Locust Grove, OK, is a vital part of the Cherokee Nation's commitment to enhancing the health of our communities. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including behavioral health, dental, eye care, family medicine, health promotion, laboratory services, nutrition, pharmacy, public health, nursing, radiology, and WIC programs. Our mission is to empower Cherokee individuals and families to achieve optimal health, fostering strong and healthy communities for today and future generations. Eligibility for our services includes Native American individuals with a Certified Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or Cherokee Nation Tribal citizenship, as well as certain non-Native American mothers and children under specific circumstances.
