The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program, based in Barrington, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. We provide essential transportation services to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery through our Meals on Wheels program, ensuring that those in need can access healthy meals. Our commitment extends to offering companionship through visitations for isolated individuals, and we also assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors over 90 without family support. Partnering with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program, empowering volunteers aged 60 and older to serve their community while receiving a stipend for their committed efforts. Together, we strive to create a supportive environment where seniors can thrive in their own homes.
