The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program, based in Bristol, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Washington County and the towns of East and West Greenwich and Jamestown. Our mission is to provide compassionate and practical support for seniors, ensuring they have access to essential services such as transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels. We also offer friendly visitations for isolated individuals to foster connection and community. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and over who lack family support. Guided by our commitment to empowering older adults, we collaborate with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs to facilitate the Senior Companion Program, providing a stipend to seniors who volunteer their time to help others.
