At Rhode Island WIC in Carolina, we are dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program offers vital resources which include nutrition education, access to healthy supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and connections to essential medical and social services. During these challenging times of COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff by providing remote assistance and mailing benefits directly to families or adding them to eWIC cards.
