The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Central Falls, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors by providing essential food assistance and transportation services to healthcare appointments and grocery stores. We offer meals on wheels and food delivery to ensure that isolated individuals receive nutritious meals. Our program also coordinates visitations, limited minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above without family support. Collaborating with the Rhode Island State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the placement of senior volunteers in the Senior Companion Program, providing them with a stipend for their commitment of 15 to 20 hours of service each week. Our mission is to foster independence and community connections for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown.
