Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to fostering healthy food choices and lifestyles for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers a variety of essential services, including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to medical and social services within Central Falls, RI, and surrounding areas. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our operations to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and staff, continuing to provide remote services and manage benefit distribution through eWIC cards. Families are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics to discover how to access our valuable food assistance services and support during these challenging times.
