MOVE! Weight Management Program in Central Falls, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with personalized referrals to appropriate weight management services. We offer a variety of flexible treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs of our Veterans, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those preferring in-home support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management, or access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those facing ongoing struggles with overweight or weight-related health issues. Each facility may offer different services, so we encourage Veterans interested in participating to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their weight loss journey.
