MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Chepachet, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management solutions that suit their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to take control of their weight management journey. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further support after participating in our program.
