The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in East Providence, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors living in Washington County, including East and West Greenwich and Jamestown. Our mission is to empower older adults through essential services such as transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels options. We understand the importance of companionship, which is why we also offer visitations for isolated individuals. Additionally, we provide support with limited minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and over who lack family assistance. In partnership with the Rhode Island State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program, offering senior volunteers aged 60 and older the chance to contribute to their community while earning a stipend for their valuable service. Together, we are fostering independence and connection for our senior residents.
