The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Forestdale, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown through vital services designed to promote independence and connection. We provide essential transportation for healthcare appointments and grocery shopping, along with reliable food delivery and Meals on Wheels services. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard cleanup, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and older without family support. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we empower senior volunteers aged 60 and over to engage in our Senior Companion Program, rewarding them for their commitment to serve their community with a stipend for 15 to 20 hours of weekly service. Our mission is to ensure that every senior in our care feels valued and supported.
